The Destination: Pattaya, Thailand
The MEDSI School 2026 will be held in the vibrant coastal city of Pattaya. Known for its world-class convention facilities and beautiful seaside setting, Pattaya provides the perfect "Collaborate" environment—offering a relaxing atmosphere that fosters focused learning and meaningful networking among the global engineering community.
The Venue
The school will be hosted at a premier conference hotel in Pattaya (specific venue to be announced shortly). The venue is chosen specifically for its proximity to the coast and its ability to host intensive technical sessions alongside high-quality Thai culinary experiences.
Official School Shuttle
To ensure a smooth arrival for our international guests, the organizing committee will provide a scheduled shuttle service from Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) directly to the official venue in Pattaya.
- Arrival Shuttle (BKK to Venue): Sunday, 29 November 2026. Detailed meeting point instructions at Suvarnabhumi Airport will be sent to all registered participants via email.
- Return Shuttle (Venue to BKK): The return service is currently under planning. We will update participants on the schedule and departure times as soon as the logistics are finalized.
Independent Travel & Extended Stays
If you plan to arrive in Thailand early or stay after the school to explore the country, there are several convenient ways to travel between Bangkok and Pattaya:
- Public Bus: Frequent, air-conditioned buses run daily from Suvarnabhumi Airport (Level 1, Gate 8) directly to Pattaya. The journey takes approximately 2 hours and is a cost-effective option.
- Private Taxi / Limousine: Available 24/7 at the airport. For the most reliable service, we recommend using the official taxi stand at the airport or booking through ride-hailing apps such as Grab or Bolt.
- Car Rental: Major international car rental agencies are located at Suvarnabhumi Airport for those who wish to drive themselves.
We highly encourage participants to take this opportunity to experience Thailand’s world-renowned heritage, from the bustling streets of Bangkok to the historic temples and tropical islands nearby.
Visa Information
Thailand offers visa-free entry or Visa on Arrival (VOA) for many nationalities.
